Because of our-nomadism_constantly moving from one place to the other in search of pasture and water for our animals, we developed the art of making strong and durable shoes from animal skin that could sustain our nomadic life. Today we have mordenized the shoe not only to look modern but also to retain their strength and durability.

We make these leather sandals in a group of talented artisans (“fundis”) in Kenya, East Africa. Made from 100% original African fine beads, the colorful designs are usually created by skilled women, who weave intricate designs with the use of fishing wire. The inside leather sole and outside rubber sole are cut by hand using a pattern. Known to be very comfortable, one can wear these sandals with absolutely anything, as they will complement any outfit.

We make these shoes in different sizes depending on our customers requirements. If you are deciding between two sizes we recommend choosing the larger one. We also recommend measuring the length of your feet and ordering a size that is 0.4 (1 cm) longer.
