African hand woven kiondo originated from craftsmen living in Eastern Community in Kenya, the Akamba.
Our Tote bags are woven using colored sisal and leather hands.The woven bag is made from products which are entirely eco-friendly and sustainable, leather to provide comfort and padding. Leathers are naturally tanned from cows and camel.
This Tote bag is really stylish, functional and eco-friendly for everyday use, summer travels and beyond. From travel to work or a night out, makes it easier to fill your closet with ethical, high quality staples for every occasion.
It’s dimensions are approximately;
12″ W x 12″ H (excluding the handle).
They are also available into sizes 8″, 10″,12, 14, and 16″.

*It takes upto 3 days of labor for a weaver to make a bag that meets your requirements.Each bag is going through a range of processes before each is made. So, all of our handmade bag are completely unique works of art. Please kindly be patient. We are sure that you will love your bag once you receive it.

Bags take 3 days to be woven to meet your requirements.
Bag can be custom made.
Bags are shipped through DHL Express Kenya A tracking number will be provided.
Please do not be surprised when you receive your bag. Bags are flattened and wrapped in sacks/flyers when shipping by courier.
Cleaning and Maintainance.
Kindly do not sock the bag in water
Because they are made from natural sisal, to clean it, kindly wipe it with a dry piece of cloth or moist piece of cloth.
