About Maasai leather sandals
Maasai leather sandals originated from our community the Maasai community of Kenya. Because of our-nomadism_we developed the art of making strong and durable shoes from animal skin that could sustain our nomadic life. Today we have mordenized the shoe not only to look modern but also to retain their strength and durability.
We make these leather sandals in a group of talented artisans (“fundis”) in Kenya, East Africa. Made from 100% original African fine beads, the colorful designs are usually created by skilled women, who weave intricate designs. The inside leather sole and outside rubber sole are cut by hand using a pattern. They very comfortable, one can wear these sandals with any outfit.
We make these shoes in different sizes depending on our customers requirements. If you are deciding between two sizes we recommend choosing the larger one. We also recommend measuring the length of your feet and ordering a size that is 0.4 (1 cm) longer.
This sandal is really stylish, functional and eco-friendly for everyday use, summer travels and beyond. From travel to Beach to Market to work or a night out, makes it easier to fill your closet with ethical, high quality staples .Beaded leather sandals are made from natural leather therefore are easier to use and clean. Avoid socking in water, wipe with a wet clothes with soap foam and wipe again with rinsed cloth.
